About me
Hi, I’m Adele, an Accredited Practising Dietitian with over 18 years of clinical experience, including 16 years at Diabetes Victoria.
I work primarily with adults with diabetes, with a strong focus on type 1 diabetes, diabetes technology, and eating-related concerns. As an accredited OzDAFNE facilitator and trainer, I have extensive experience supporting people to navigate advanced carbohydrate counting and the practical realities of day-to-day diabetes management.
Alongside this, I have a strong interest in supporting people on their GLP-1 medication journey, including building a more positive and sustainable relationship with food. This includes pre-medication support to build helpful and sustainable nutrition patterns, practical guidance while on treatment to support energy levels, muscle and bone health, and adequate food intake, as well as structured support when transitioning off medication to help maintain progress and maintain a positive relationship with food long term.
I also support people experiencing complex relationships with food, including disordered eating patterns.
My approach is compassionate, practical, and tailored to the individual. I aim to provide nutrition support that feels realistic, sustainable, and supportive of both physical and emotional wellbeing.
My goal is to meet you where you are and work collaboratively to create strategies that fit your life—not just in theory, but in practice.
